Join our growing team as an electrical/computer engineer in support of the NAS Communications Team at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) in Oklahoma City.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. All applicants must have resided in the United States for the past 3 years.
  • Foundational knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis and design.
  • Understanding of semiconductor devices, power electronics, and signal processing.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with Printed Circuit Board design principles and layout fundamentals.
  • Experience with laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, multimeters).
  • Understanding of grounding and bonding.
  • Basic troubleshooting of electronic assemblies and subsystems.
  • Ability to support electrical engineering tasks under senior engineer guidance.
  • Must have knowledge and experience with the Python programming language.

Nice To Haves

  • On-site presence will be as required by the FAA.
  • Knowledge/education or experience with RF systems would be helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to write clear, structured technical documentation including: Engineering analysis reports, Test procedures and test reports, Configuration documentation, Standard operating procedures (SOPs), Engineering change documentation.
  • Strong verbal communication skills for technical briefings and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear explanations for non-technical personnel.
  • Experience with signal generators, oscilloscopes, and test equipment.
  • Ability to take and support field service calls.
  • Provide real-time troubleshooting support to field technicians.
  • Document incident findings and corrective actions.
  • Support remote and on-site system diagnostics.
  • Participate in after-hours or mission-critical support when required.
  • Solid foundation in circuit theory, power systems, grounding, and signal integrity.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and system block diagrams.
  • Structured troubleshooting methodology (root cause analysis, fault isolation).
  • Understanding of system integration principles (hardware, firmware, and software interaction).
  • Familiarity with industry safety standards and electrical best practices.
  • Ability to support electrical engineering tasks in lab, field, and production environments.
