About The Position

Assemble Mechanical and Electrical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications.

Requirements

• Ability to study assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
• Proficiency in gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Skill in positioning parts and subassemblies using templates or reading measurements.
• Capability to examine connections for correct fit and fasten parts and subassemblies.
• Ability to measure completed components to verify specifications.
• Problem-solving skills to alter dimensions and meet specifications.
• Knowledge of safe and clean working environment procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Resource conservation through proper equipment and supply usage.
• Documentation skills for production and quality forms.
• Teamwork and contribution to team effort.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work to be completed by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Any and all other duties as assigned by management.
