About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturer of electrical distribution and power equipment. This position is responsible for assembling a variety of electrical enclosures, switchgear components, metering stations, capacitor controls, junction boxes, and related equipment according to specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with hand tools, and the ability to follow assembly drawings and instructions in a production environment.

Requirements

  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or mechanical experience is required.
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, blueprints, or schematics.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools are required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic are required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift and move materials and components as needed.
  • Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience assembling electrical or industrial equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electrical enclosures, switchgear components, capacitor controls, metering stations, and related products.
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, work orders, and production instructions.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete assemblies accurately.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Install components, brackets, insulators, fuse mountings, and related hardware.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.
  • Follow established assembly procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Identify and report production, material, or quality concerns to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Assist with other production and assembly duties as assigned.
