Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ years of experience in electrical assembly, wire harness assembly, panel wiring, or related manufacturing work.
  • Experience using hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, and power tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read tape measures and follow detailed work instructions.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good Problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience assembling UL508A control panels preferred.
  • Experience with IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards preferred.
  • Ability to use multimeters and basic electrical test equipment preferred.
  • Forklift or material-handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies using cut lists, schematics, and assembly drawings.
  • Utilize automated equipment to measure, mark, cut, and strip wires per wire list.
  • Crimp, strip, terminate, ultrasonic weld, label, and route wires according to specifications.
  • Build and wire electrical control enclosures/panels, including mounting components such as terminal blocks, relays, power supplies, circuit breakers, and switches.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing (manual and automated) to verify proper assembly.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Identify and report assembly issues, material shortages, or drawing discrepancies.
  • Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment.
  • Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
