About The Position
The Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing electrical installations on machinery and conveyor systems. This role involves installing wire-ways, pulling and terminating wires and cables, mounting sensors and disconnects, and troubleshooting system issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in industrial wiring, machinery electrical installations, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
Nice To Haves
- Technical certification in electrical work is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and work orders.
- Install wire-ways, conduit, and cable trays according to layout specifications.
- Pull, route, and terminate wires and cables for machinery and conveyor systems.
- Mount and wire sensors, disconnects, and other electrical components.
- Identify and resolve electrical system issues through troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Ensure all electrical installations meet safety and compliance standards.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, strip, and crimp wires as needed.
- Work with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficiency and safety.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required protective equipment.
