About The Position

The Electrical Assembler performs electrical rough-in and finish work on a generator enclosure line, working on both generators and enclosures. The position may also require work onsite at customer locations. Shifts offered are first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and second shift, Monday through Thursday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Second-shift employees must train on first shift for 2–4 weeks.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and layout drawings.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to run, bend, and install EMT and rigid conduit.
Ability to run and install Seal Tight conduit.
Ability to pull and terminate power and control cables.
Ability to set and install junction boxes, switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and distribution panels.
Ability to troubleshoot and determine corrective actions.
Ability to work within a team and communicate concerns and issues.
Must provide basic electrician tools.
Ability to work onsite and at customer locations as required.
Second-shift schedule requires training on first shift for 2–4 weeks.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical rough-in and finish work on generators and enclosures.

Pull and terminate power and control cables.
Set and install junction boxes, switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, and distribution panels.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine corrective actions.
Work as part of a team and communicate concerns and issues.
Work onsite and at customer locations as required.
