About The Position

Process Center Electrical Assembler is responsible for operating and maintaining SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment to produce high‑quality electronic assemblies. Performs machine setup, component loading, inspection, and basic troubleshooting. Ensures adherence to manufacturing standards, safety practices, and production schedules while supporting continuous improvement activities. The role involves working on the 2nd Shift (3:30PM-2:00AM), Monday-Thursday, with the requirement to train on 1st shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline, plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.

Responsibilities

Perform tasks including soldering, hardware installation, post‑coating, and operating and maintaining SMT equipment.
Inspect own work to ensure it meets workmanship standards, engineering requirements, and design specifications.
Maintain expected productivity levels to meet customer deadlines.
Follow all company rules and regulations, including Environmental Health & Safety, Ethics & Compliance, Quality, and attendance expectations.
Acquire applicable skills, knowledge, certifications, and complete all required training.
Maintain materials, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized condition.
Provide progress updates to leads or supervisors.
Successfully pass a soldering assessment following provided training.
Other duties as assigned.
Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods throughout the full shift.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks associated with assembly and soldering work.
Ability to work in a production environment using tools, equipment, and materials required for hardware assembly.
Ability to follow safety procedures and properly handle components and hardware.
