Requirements
- 3-4 years of previous electrical (Residential/Commercial/Industrial experience)
- State of Michigan Registered Electrical Apprentice License
- Participate in our employer sponsored DOL electrical apprenticeship through SEMCA.
- Troubleshoot Lighting Control Systems
- Able to install Switchboards
- Knowledge of Testing Equipment
- Conduit sizing and conduit fill
- Responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting switchboards and switchgears to ensure efficient power distribution and system reliability.
- Install and maintain busway systems, ensuring flexible and reliable power distribution for industrial and commercial applications.
- Construct and fabricate parts, using hand tools and specifications
- Blueprint reading
- Arc flash training
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Ability to take direction
- Valid driver's license

Responsibilities
- Aid the Electrical Foreman on the completion of industrial electrical projects
- Bend conduit, pull wire, and utilize standard electrical testing equipment
- Take continuous direction from Electrical Foreman
- Support other apprentices, journeyman, and foremen on various projects.
- Follow instructions from foremen and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Keep the job site clean and well-organized.
- Handle the loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure attention to detail and follow safety standards
- Fuel and wash department vehicles
- Gain essential carpentry skills to progress within the electrical department.
