We are currently seeking to fill a permanent position for an intermediate Control, Automation, and Electrical Designer/Technician for our Fredericton office. We are looking for motivated individuals who can adapt quickly and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Candidates must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and clients through excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements

  • College diploma in electrical engineering or instrumentation
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Attention to detail and quality of deliverables
  • Flexibility in a constantly evolving environment
  • Interest in consulting engineering

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project solution development — including research and project evaluation.
  • Work on small, medium, and large-scale project teams in the mining & metals and energy sectors.
  • Contribute to the design and preparation of engineering deliverables in collaboration with other involved disciplines.
  • Create various control, automation, and electrical drawings such as process and instrumentation diagrams, control architecture drawings, single-line diagrams, 3D models, wiring diagrams, and more.
