Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in automotive production.
  • 3+ years of experience in Assembly.
  • 3+ years of experience in equipment electric and automation.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Basic technical knowledge in automation technology and/or production systems (e.g. industrial network structures, PLCs and control units, Siemens TIA Portal).
  • Basic knowledge of production systems in the field of production (e.g. SCADA, Back-up and Recovery systems, MES).
  • Knowledge in local electrical regulations, guidelines and standards like NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association), NFPA 79 – Electrical Standard for Industrial Machines, NEC (National Electrical Code) and similar.
  • Knowledge in equipment electric planning processes.
  • Basic technical knowledge in automation technology and/or production systems.
  • Knowledge in local electrical regulations, guidelines and standards like NEMA, NPFA 79, NEC.
  • 5+ to 7 years experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or related fields preferred.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Knowledge about stakeholders and interfaces to the assembly area (like production, IT, shopfloor IT, building, infrastructure, pilot hall, EHS department).
  • Knowledge in equipment electric planning processes starting from the concept up to the final handover to production.
  • Fundamental skills in office applications.
  • Skills in web-based applications.
  • Costumer orientated skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure production processes and electrical function of equipment according to local regulations and standards.
  • Present results to the team, the management or the board.
