About The Position

Under direct supervision, this individual contributor role focuses on completing preventative maintenance and basic repair activities on Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and their related components at customer sites. The position involves following established procedures and guidelines to develop field service knowledge and skills, while also completing on-the-job training and classroom instruction based on Cummins-provided curriculum. This role is part of the Distribution business and is located in Portland, OR.

Requirements

• Must be able to maintain own tools.
• Must adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies, including high-voltage safety procedures.
• Must participate in ongoing training and certifications on new and existing Cummins products and EV technologies.
• Must follow established procedures and guidelines while developing field service knowledge and technical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and related components.
• Ability to perform basic inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
• Experience maintaining detailed records of service activities and repairs.
