Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of relevant industrial experience, preferably in electric motor repair.
Strong understanding of industrial electrical and mechanical motor systems.
Experience troubleshooting, disassembling, evaluating, and rebuilding industrial motors.
Knowledge of AC and DC motor troubleshooting and testing.
Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic tools required for the trade.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience is a plus and qualifies candidates for higher pay consideration.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild industrial electric motors and electromechanical equipment.
Test electromechanical equipment to troubleshoot known or suspected problems using various diagnostic methods (AC or DC).
Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble industrial motors.
Replace bearings, brushes, seals, gears, motor leads, and other mechanical components.
Perform operational testing to ensure equipment meets performance and safety standards.
Read technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
Maintain accurate service records and follow workplace safety procedures.
Operate specialized repair and testing equipment.
Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
