About The Position

The mission of the Secretary of State's office is to serve the public by meeting its legal responsibilities of collecting, securing and communicating information that enhances commerce, ensures the integrity of Louisiana's elections and preserves, presents and makes accessible government information essential to Louisiana's operations and its recorded history. Maintain, program, and service vital voting machines and field equipment as an Election Technician A, B, or C for District 10 (covering East/West Baton Rouge, East/West Feliciana, Ascension, Iberville, Livingston and Pointe Coupee parishes).

Responsibilities

• Provide storage, maintenance, inventory, and placement of election machines and equipment.
• Communicate with local officials, the public, and poll workers.
• Inspect election equipment.
• Election Day support.
