The ELC Educational Coordinator manages educational early childhood grant-funded programs at Boys & Girls Club Early Learning Centers (ELCs) and Boys & Girls Club Alliance sites, including administration, implementation, compliance and evaluation, to support high-quality literacy instruction and school readiness initiatives for children and families across BGCTM's network. These programs include, but are not limited to, the Nevada Ready! State Pre-K (NR!PK) Program and the Nevada Early Childhood Literacy and Readiness (ECLR) Grant. The ELC Educational Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for all sites and stakeholders related to early childhood educational grant programs. The ELC Educational Coordinator is responsible for keeping all locations in compliance with all grant requirements, including Nevada Department of Education (NDE) requirements outlined in NRS 387.652-658, by maintaining accurate documentation, monitoring program performance, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maximize grant outcomes. As this position supports locations throughout Nevada, the ELC Educational Coordinator spends approximately 60% of their time in ELC locations and 2-5 days per month traveling outside of the Reno-Sparks area, depending on program needs.
