About The Position

Performs EKG tracings for outpatients and applies ambulatory heart monitors. The technician connects patients to the EKG machine, maintains accurate information in MUSE, maintains competency in basic dysrhythmia, validates orders in the EMR, and follows up appropriately. The role also involves learning to work the scheduling queues for outpatient EKGs and ambulatory heart monitors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS certification.

• Patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities
