About The Position

This position performs inpatient and outpatient electrocardiograms, treadmill tests, Holter and event monitoring, and other technical studies. The role requires the ability to identify and assess changes in cardiac rhythms. Duties also include coordinating schedules, office work, training new employees, and using fax machines, computers, and multiple phone lines. The position may also involve performing designated Lead duties when the Lead Technician is absent.

The role is with Providence Swedish at Swedish First Hill, where caregivers support patient-focused, whole-person care.

Requirements

• National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program.
• Three years of EKG experience.
• Experience with Holter and event recorders and cardiac stress testing.
• Office experience, typing skills, and experience in a hospital setting with patient contact.
