About The Position
Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital seeks an EKG Technician for their Electrocardiography department. This role is responsible for operating Hospital information systems for data entry and retrieval under appropriate levels of supervision, as required by regulatory agencies. The technician will also perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other cardiology-related testing.
Requirements
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Computer keyboard skills.
Nice To Haves
- A.A. Degree from a 2-year college, or equivalent.
- Basic and advanced arrhythmia training.
- National EKG certification.
- Ability to scan and interpret holter monitor recordings.
- EKG experience or comparable training and experience that provide skills to perform the job tasks competently.
