Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current BLS (CPR) certification required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Prior EKG Technician experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) across various hospital locations
- Conduct cardiac stress tests following physician protocols
- Ensure accurate electrode placement and artifact-free tracings
- Maintain and document emergency equipment functionality
- Prepare patients for testing and communicate any physical limitations
- Operate EHR systems to enter and retrieve patient data
- Collaborate with clinical teams and report equipment issues promptly
- Support infection control and universal precautions consistently
