About The Position

Join our team as an EKG Tech and make an impact through direct patient care. Perform 12-lead EKGs and ensure completed EKGs align with charges. The EKG department performs testing that supplies the physician with data concerning the operation of the heart. Performs a variety of procedures in cardiology including preparing patients for stress testing, EKGs, transcribing EKG interpretations, maintaining the EKG management system, Holter monitor hookups and disconnects, Holter checks, patient care and assessments in cardiopulmonary rehab, and assisting the cardiologists as necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience
• CPR/AED

Nice To Haves

• 12-lead EKG experience recommended
• <2 years experience

Responsibilities

• Perform 12-lead EKGs and ensure completed EKGs align with charges
• Performs general office duties.
• Performs cardiology tests and procedures.
• Ensures all equipment is cleaned, stocked, available, and kept in working order.
• Supports and demonstrates the continuous improvements of quality and service.
• Ensures charges are entered correctly and timely.
