Actual compensation may vary and may be above the posted range based on factors such as a candidate's skills, experience, education, certifications, and work location. What your job will be like: Maintain highly complex electrical, electronic, or mechanical equipment, structures, components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve performance and facilitate operations. Lead and instruct junior technicians performing maintenance and repair of cryogenic electrical and electronic equipment, instrumentation, and controls within cryogenics operations. Provide technical support for modification and/or installation projects and updating "as built" drawings and other documentation. Work directly with engineers to lead junior technicians in the operation of various types of rotating and reciprocating machines such as helium screw compressors, helium reciprocating expansion engines, vacuum pumps, and all associated components that support ongoing testing and accelerator operations throughout the laboratory.
