Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety, Safety/Industrial Systems preferred.
• 2-3 years minimum of supporting safety in manufacturing.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Power Point.
• Ability to work well with people in various levels of the organization.
• Strong written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, supporting, and maintaining the Safety Management System.
• Participate in facility safety audits.
• Create audit checklist criteria for the site.
• Implement corporate safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance on OSHA compliance and industry safety standards.
• Develop and coordinate safety training.
• Provide monthly safety performance and trending reports.
• Support site EHS leads as needed.
• Develop ergonomic and safety evaluation tools, guidance, and checklists.
• Develop training and lead new employee orientation.
