This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in systems, data management, and reporting tools
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of experience in EHS, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Associate degree in EHS, Business, Science, or a technical field

Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate EHS programs, training, audits, employee outreach events and compliance initiatives
  • Help maintain a safe, healthy workplace while protecting company assets and the environment
  • Manage EHS systems, databases, and SharePoint resources for accuracy and accessibility
  • Track and manage department office supplies, EHS budget, purchase orders, and vendor coordination (Ariba, Symphony)
  • Process invoices and collaborate with Finance and Corporate A/P
  • Process contractor management approval documentation (Food Safety Impact Forms) for EHS vendors/projects
  • Input and track safety and security work orders
  • Track and manage the EHS preventative maintenance (PMs) process (Maximo)
  • Assist with site-wide departmental safety programs, including Behavior-Based Safety, High 5 for Safety, and annual LOTO procedure review management
  • Compile and analyze data and trending for environmental and safety reporting (incidents, near misses)
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) systems and ensure corporate compliance standards are met
  • Track and manage the EHS database for incident and near miss investigations and action items, including communicating and following up with department leaders to ensure on-time completion
  • Provide responsive support to employees on environmental and safety concerns
  • Manage updates to EHS communications boards, posters, etc.
  • Provide additional short-notice administrative support, as needed
