About The Position

Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking an EHS Supervisor to join our team. This is an onsite role based at the Lancaster, TX site. We are one of three major distribution hubs for the Eaton Electrical Sector. With a team of just under 200 employees, we operate in a 575,000 sq ft warehousing space distributing four product lines with continued growth to six product lines within the next year. We operate 110+ powered industrial vehicles to receive and process material for shipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and minimum 3 years of experience in EHS OR Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution and minimum 1 year of experience in EHS.
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Lancaster, TX will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

  • Supports environmental, health, safety and security efforts at the site, focusing on the deployment of Managing Environmental Safety and Health (MESH) initiatives while working directly with front-line leaders.
  • Accountable for supporting EHS activities at the site, including leading MESH elements and maintaining systems and processes such as: monitoring and measurement systems related to EHS, reporting and communication of metrics, collection and organization of action items, supporting EHS training for various initiatives, leading and supporting EHS teams, leading and supporting incident investigations and supporting site internal assessment activities.
  • Champion and lead team projects designed to drive improvements in the “Zero Incident Safety Culture,” including monitoring and compliance for critical machine guarding, electrical safe work practices, confined space entry, and lockout/tagout processes.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and achievement of annual safety and environmental targets and metrics to strengthen EHS culture, compliance, and results.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to employee-led safety teams, partner with local functional managers to execute EHS programs and projects, and serve as leader of the plant safety committee.
  • Maintain current emergency response procedures, conduct drills (plant evacuation, medical emergencies, weather events), ensure accurate EHS reporting, close MESH and regulatory findings, coordinate with public and government authorities, and support crisis response efforts as needed.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to functional managers and employees for the investigation of accidents and near misses, identify root causes, analyze trends, and ensure timely and effective implementation of corrective actions.
  • Coordinate and manage occupational safety and health training programs, including PPE, forklift operation, first aid, machine safety, hearing conservation, respiratory protection, bloodborne pathogens, foot and eye protection, confined space, contractor safety, and hazard communication.
  • Compile and analyze MESH data for entry into Eaton’s Safety database, including corrective action tracking and MESH scoring, and review and support the site’s Workstation Risk Assessment Program.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure plant projects, changes, upgrades, and modifications comply with Management of Change (MOC) and MESH change management processes, supporting Operational Excellence and capital projects as required.
  • Coordinate site sustainability initiatives, including recycling programs, Zero Waste to Landfill efforts, waste minimization, and related environmental initiatives.
