About The Position

This role is for EHS services in the manufacturing area. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field, with at least five years of experience in EHS activities within the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required, along with a great attitude and a strong desire to learn new skills. The shift is administrative and may adjust according to business needs. Experience in Ergonomics and Industrial Hygiene is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Science, Engineering or related field
• At least five (5) years of experience in EHS activities within the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish
• Experience in Ergonomics
• Experience in Industrial Hygiene
• Great attitude and strong desire to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EHS compliance through inspections, risk identification, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Manage the ergonomics program by conducting evaluations and following up on improvements.
• Support the ISO 45001 system and ensure regulatory compliance and applicable permits.
• Conduct audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments to reduce workplace hazards.
• Provide EHS training, including new employee orientation, and maintain up-to-date certifications.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering on process changes to ensure safe and compliant practices.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and emergency response organizations.
