About The Position

Partner with manufacturing leaders to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace Develop and implement safety management systems, including: Hazard identification Risk assessments Mitigation planning Compliance auditing and reporting Serve as a safety subject matter expert (SME) on: Capital projects Process improvements Cost reduction initiatives Train and educate employees on safety procedures such as: PPE Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Ergonomics Hazardous materials handling Lead and support incident investigations, including: Root cause analysis Corrective action planning and execution Manage hazardous and residual waste programs Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives for safety and environmental systems Lead hazard identification and risk assessment processes Plan and execute process safety mitigation projects Ensure all safety documentation and compliance requirements are maintained Execute capital projects safely, meeting cost, schedule, and performance targets Provide ongoing technical guidance and knowledge sharing across the plant Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations Serve as an on-call safety contact as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent experience
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience (entry-level candidates considered)
  • Knowledge of: Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) systems Risk assessments and hazard identification Compliance and safety regulations
  • Experience with: Project management and facilitation Process improvement initiatives
  • Proficiency in: Microsoft Office Power BI
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to lead and influence across teams
  • Strong communication and training abilities
  • Proactive, hands-on approach in a manufacturing environment
