The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team collaborates with business units to ensure the safety of our employees, community, and environment. Our EHS Management System supports our global ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications and cutting-edge product development. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in EHS program management in a manufacturing, laboratory, construction, or facilities environment
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, both planned and emergent
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a distributed EHS team
  • Experience with highly hazardous chemicals
  • Availability to participate in a rotating on-call system for 24/7 emergency response within 30 minutes

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in an EHS, Engineering, Chemistry, or a closely-related field; or equivalent coursework and experience
  • Professional EHS certification or progress toward certification
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with regulatory agencies
  • Experience with contractor safety management
  • Experience supporting or implementing EHS management systems like ISO 14001 or ISO 45001
  • Ability to engage in hands-on hazardous materials activities, including incident response
  • Ability to transition to alternate shifts

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned EHS programs, providing timely and accurate technical and regulatory guidance, maintaining management system procedures, oversight of compliance, and interacting with regulators
  • Serve as the primary EHS liaison to several business groups
  • Identify, assess, and document foreseeable EHS risks related to work activities, equipment, processes, and facilities
  • Participate in the Chemical Emergency Response Team (CERT) and/or Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT)
