About The Position

ANDRITZ is seeking a hands-on EHS & Safety Manager to lead safety and environmental programs at their Lancaster, OH manufacturing facility. This role involves partnering with site leadership to foster a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance the protection of employees, operations, and the environment. The position is based in Lancaster, OH and is an on-site role at the ANDRITZ – Diamond Power facility.

Requirements

• 5+ years of EHS or safety leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
• Proven experience developing safety programs and leading training initiatives
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead, implement, and continuously improve EHS and safety programs across the site
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable environmental and safety regulations
• Drive risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations to prevent future issues
• Champion a culture of safety through training, engagement, and leadership collaboration
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, HR, and leadership teams
• Support environmental initiatives including waste reduction, spill prevention, and sustainability
