This role is responsible for planning and implementing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and achieve the organization's sustainability goals. The position involves designing and implementing EHS policies, managing management systems, conducting audits, providing expert advice, and cooperating with various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, EHS
  • 3 to 5 years in a manufacturing environment (electrical preferred).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Basic OSHA regulation and ISO standards/knowledge.
  • Experience developing training programs and conducting audits.
  • Excellent communication and advanced presentation skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and lead resolutions.
  • Business acumen.
  • Computer proficient including MS Office.
  • External candidates must have the ability to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement programs related to EHS aspects in order to comply with all respective and relevant local regulations and legislations and to achieve the organization's own sustainability goals related to EHS.
  • Design and / or implement policies, standards and guidelines for EHS related topics.
  • Implement agreed programs to manage respective management systems regionally or locally.
  • Plan, coordinate, organize and/or conduct audits including analyses and documentation of findings.
  • Provide advice on related subjects and support implementation of sustainable processes and products.
  • Cooperate with stakeholders in the organization and/or external auditors, and relate with regulatory and government agencies and associations, on an operational level.
  • Perform Industrial Hygiene testing at various intervals, as directed.
