About The Position

This role involves handling and managing waste inspections, performing clerical work such as shredding and filing documents, and implementing corrective action plans. The associate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and tracking monthly training topics and presentations for General meetings and weekly OMC. They will also administer the safety portion of orientation weekly, examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions, and compile agendas for monthly safety committee meetings. Additionally, the role includes investigating work-related injuries, reporting details to appropriate parties, reviewing company policies and procedures annually, and updating/monitoring audits and reports in a controlled system. The associate will track internal audits and countermeasures, reporting to the EHS Manager. Responsibilities also include performing weekly inventory of chemical drums, monitoring, investigating, and reporting daily safety incidents and accidents, maintaining the AAA program, assigning work orders, updating personnel files with safety documents, creating safety training in the Learning Management system, and working with onsite security to maintain contractor compliance of records and training. The role requires confirming safety and compliance with standards in the manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to follow all safety guidelines, work instructions, and complete work records
  • Ability to maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Scanning, shredding, and filing of documentation
  • Capable of performing all computer functions necessary to process orders in a correct and timely manner
  • Able to follow attendance policy
  • Capable of OJT training
  • Able to follow work standards
  • No active safety violations or counseling’s on file
