About The Position

The EHS Manager is responsible for driving workplace safety and regulatory compliance through injury prevention, incident management, employee training, and risk reduction initiatives. The position partners with leadership and employees to maintain a safe, compliant work environment while supporting workers’ compensation, environmental, and wellness programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience leading safety programs in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership skills and the ability to lead change.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
• Understand and apply OSHA regulations.
• Flexibility and availability to work overtime or weekends and rotate on-call activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead injury reduction initiatives, ensure OSHA compliance, and investigate critical incidents.
• Manage inspections from State and Federal regulatory agencies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, NIOSH, and other agencies.
• Oversee the Workers Compensation process to effectively manage claims.
• Direct activities to compile EHS&S information or other data as required by State and Federal agencies.
• Manage EHS&S programs and provide direction to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal programs.
• Assess trends and risks and make recommendations to prevent incidents or injuries.
• Develop, conduct, and/or coordinate EHS&S training for all Plant employees.
• Assist with Health and Wellness initiatives and environmental compliance.
