  • Demonstrated expertise in cell fab chemical hazards including HF, silane, phosphine, and related process chemicals.
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ regulatory requirements applicable to advanced manufacturing operations.
  • Experience managing environmental permits and regulatory relationships at the state and regional level.
  • Proven track record building EHS management systems and safety programs in high-hazard manufacturing environments.
  • Experience leading EHS teams in a 24/7 production environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own all EHS programs and compliance obligations for the G2 solar cell fab, including chemical safety, industrial hygiene, environmental permitting, and emergency response.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive chemical hazard programs for cell fab processes including HF, silane, phosphine, and other hazardous materials under solar cell manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) requirements.
  • Lead and develop an EHS team supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment across multiple shifts.
  • Establish and manage chemical storage, handling, and disposal programs in compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Lead incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes for EHS events.
  • Manage environmental permits, reporting obligations, and agency relationships at the regional and state level.
  • Partner with Facilities, Process, and Operations teams to integrate EHS requirements into facility design, tool installation, and production workflows.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all levels of the organization.
  • Build and sustain a proactive safety culture where every employee is an owner of EHS performance.
