About The Position

The EHS Manager owns environmental compliance, regulatory permitting, hazardous waste management, and employee safety performance for the Poca, Princeton, and Tazewell manufacturing facilities. Princeton is the primary work location. The role serves as the company's primary representative to EPA, OSHA, state environmental agencies, fire marshals, and insurance carriers, and ensures that permits, reports, manifests, inspections, and other compliance obligations are accurately maintained and completed. The position provides environmental, health, and safety leadership and oversight; develops and maintains compliant company policies and facility-wide programs; and identifies and mitigates risks through audits, inspections, training, investigations, and corrective actions. It oversees environmental permits and reporting, hazardous waste programs, air and water compliance, stormwater and spill-prevention programs, employee and contractor safety, and regulatory responses. The manager also leads the Safety Committee and promotes employee engagement and a strong safety culture through communication, coaching, training, and site leadership accountability. The role requires variable local travel to support and audit EHS programs at the three facilities. Travel frequency varies according to operational performance, compliance requirements, project activity, incident investigations, and regulatory needs. The successful candidate is expected to develop sustainable site-level ownership of EHS programs, reducing the need for routine travel through effective training, accountability, and leadership engagement.
