EHS Manager

Requirements
- Expertise level knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experienced in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required.
- Five years of related experience preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree desirable.
- Certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, ASP, or CSP highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit comprehensive quarterly reports on EHS metrics and activities.
- Handle administrative tasks related to EHS, including policy updates and documentation management.
- Review safety incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, including timely reporting and documentation of workplace incidents.
- Participate in and lead CI projects aimed at enhancing workplace safety and efficiency.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential safety, health, and environmental risks.
- Develop and implement inspection policies, procedures, and schedules.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions on emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
- Ensure all employees are informed and compliant with EHS standards.
- Maintain accurate records of safety data sheets, hazardous waste discharges, employee exposure to pollutants, and environmental permits.
- Ensure all records are accessible and up-to-date.
- Oversee the investigation of incidents, ensuring thorough documentation, root cause identification, and implementation of long-term corrective actions.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, local regulations, and internal safety standards.
- Utilize EHS consultants as necessary.
- Manage employee medical care, worker’s compensation claims, and accident prevention initiatives.
