Join our Idaho team and play a critical role in developing and supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment that enables the world's most innovative technologies. As an EHS Manager, you will lead Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability programs that support safe operations, risk management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across one or more Micron facilities. You will provide strategic leadership for EHS teams, partner with operational and construction organizations, and drive initiatives that protect team members, support sustainability goals, and strengthen Micron's safety community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or experience in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience leading Environmental, Health, and Safety programs in manufacturing, industrial, construction, semiconductor, chemical, energy, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Experience leading teams, developing technical professionals, and driving performance.
  • Knowledge of environmental, occupational safety, emergency response, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Environmental, Safety, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, PE, or proven experience.
  • Experience supporting large-scale construction projects, contractor safety programs, and site expansion initiatives.
  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or other complex industrial environments with significant regulatory requirements.
  • Experience using AI, automation, digital tools, data analytics, or sustainability programs to improve EHS performance and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability teams by setting strategic objectives, driving performance, developing talent, and supporting succession planning and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety laws through oversight of permitting, audits, inspections, hazardous waste programs, regulatory reporting, agency interactions, and corrective action processes.
  • Drive safety excellence by implementing EHS management systems, leading incident investigations and root cause analyses, developing preventive measures, and supporting safe construction and manufacturing operations.
  • Lead all aspects of emergency preparedness and response programs, coordinating training, planning, and response activities to effectively lead EHS-related incidents and business risks.
  • Lead sustainability initiatives and promote the use of AI and digital technologies to improve operational efficiency, data management, reporting, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
