About The Position

EnSafe is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to work as a full-time consultant at a client site in Columbus, GA. This position is based on a 4-month contract with the opportunity for permanent hire. This is a dynamic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by driving safety culture and compliance in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in EHS Studies or equivalent professional experience.
5-10 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing safety.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train others.
Experience with safety program development and implementation.
Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state-specific EHS regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS Management systems.
Proven expertise in hazard identification and control strategies.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Implement and support client EHS programs, policies, and procedures to promote a safe and healthy workplace.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
Conduct assessments and provide technical guidance on: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Machine guarding, Confined space entry, Job hazard analysis.
Administer safety-related programs and projects.
Deliver EHS training and support to facility personnel.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks.
