About The Position

Spreetail is seeking an EHS Manager to own the strategy and hands-on execution of safety programs at its fulfillment center in Greenwood, Indiana. This is an onsite individual-contributor role, five days per week, requiring a consistent presence on the warehouse floor. The manager will conduct walkthroughs, lead incident investigations, deliver training, and personally handle the work needed to keep associates safe and programs audit-ready, without dedicated Safety Supervisors. Success in the role includes managing ORIR and LTI metrics to meet or outperform industry benchmarks for warehouse and e-fulfillment operations; accurately documenting and investigating OSHA-recordable incidents and closing corrective actions; maintaining new-hire and PIT training completion at 95% or higher; conducting monthly safety audits and improving results quarter over quarter; maintaining and regularly drilling emergency plans across shifts; and proactively managing workers’ compensation claims and modified duty programs. Spreetail values diverse backgrounds and non-linear career paths and does not require a college degree. The company describes a results-oriented culture that encourages employees to take time off when needed and supports community involvement.
