About The Position
This role will participate, as directed, in Environmental, Health & Safety projects as a member of a consulting project team, design, development, implementation, and delivery of a wide variety of EHS solutions as a technical contributor. In this role you will be supporting various consulting projects. Projects are variable and challenging.
Requirements
- Working towards undergraduate degree preferably in a science or engineering related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide internal customer service at all levels of the business
- Requires the ability to read and record data quickly and accurately; to prepare records and reports and post data; to avoid perceptual errors in performing computations
Responsibilities
- Health and safety code compliance
- Developing and delivering EHS/Occupational Health and Safety programs and training
- EHS assessments/general program compliance audits
- Regulatory compliance
- Occupational safety surveys/inspections
- Environmental issues (air, wastewater, hazardous waste)
- ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems program development
- Industrial hygiene (IAQ, investigations, sampling, monitoring, assessments)
- Desire and interest to work in construction safety
- Compiling data and providing input to client reports and programs
