EHS Engineer - Contract

About The Position
DISHER is seeking an experienced EHS Engineer to support a two-year project with a customer team in the medical device industry. The role provides site-level EHS support across the program, with autonomy and an emphasis on preventing issues and ensuring new and relocated equipment and processes are safe and ergonomic.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, EHS engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and equipment safety reviews.
- Ability to understand and interpret OSHA and ISO standards.
- Experience performing ergonomics assessments for new and relocated assembly processes.
- Proactive, preventive mindset.
- Comfort operating independently as the site EHS presence during the program.
- Medical device experience or experience in similarly regulated manufacturing is required.
Responsibilities
- Execute EHS support across the program at the site level.
- Complete risk assessments and equipment safety reviews for all new and relocated equipment.
- Abide by OSHA and ISO requirements and ensure new processes are safe and ergonomic.
- Operate independently as the site EHS presence during the program.
