About The Position

The EHS Bilingual Training Technician is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) training and orientation programs. This position assists with scheduling, recordkeeping, training documentation, onboarding activities, and communication with English and Spanish-speaking employees, contractors, and visitors. The EHS Bilingual Training Technician works closely with EHS Trainers, Orientation Coordinators, project teams, and client representatives to support training compliance and ensure accurate maintenance of training records.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) required.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform duties associated with the position.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
  • Proficiency with applicable software, systems, and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating EHS orientation and training sessions.
  • Maintain training databases, attendance rosters, records, and documentation in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Prepare training materials, sign-in sheets, badges, certificates, and related documentation.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Serve as a bilingual resource for employees, contractors, visitors, and clients by providing verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish.
  • Translate training-related documents, communications, and instructions as needed.
  • Generate reports and track employee training completion status.
  • Scan, upload, file, and maintain electronic and hard-copy training records.
  • Operate office equipment including computers, scanners, printers, copiers, and label makers.
  • Coordinate with project personnel regarding training schedules, requirements, and documentation.
  • Maintain inventory of training materials and office supplies.
  • Assist EHS Trainers with classroom setup, administrative tasks, and training support activities.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding training and orientation activities.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports as required.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members and departments to achieve organizational goals.
  • Prioritize workload and manage multiple assignments effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable company policies, contractual requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee, client, and company information.
  • Participate in meetings, training programs, safety briefings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Perform assigned responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
