About The Position

We’re looking for a EHS Advisor to promote all aspects of the EHS program as it is implemented in field operations. In this role, you'll interact with crews to ensure proper implementation of EHS program and initiatives, coach and mentor field personnel to build skills, understanding, and a positive EHS environment on the job site, and work across departments and client sites to maintain our commitment to EHS performance and culture.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of safety experience, including electrical safety and NFPA 70E application
  • Working knowledge of electrical generation, substation, transmission, and distribution equipment and principles
  • Skill in anticipating safety risks and taking proactive measures
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging, effective training across levels
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and risk assessment skills
  • Fluent in English (spoken, written, and typed)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid and current driver’s license
  • Must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment/random drug tests
  • Willing and able to travel extensively within a pre-defined region, including overnight stays
  • Flexible to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and nights as required

Nice To Haves

  • Background in electrical or NETA-related industries is highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety & health, Environmental Science, Human Resources, or related field
  • Safety certification preferred (e.g., CSP, CIH, or equivalent)
  • Experience serving as an on-site safety representative
  • Familiarity with client-specific safety protocols and MSAs
  • Experience supporting safety efforts in electrical utility or field service environments
  • Bi-lingual skills

Responsibilities

  • Promote and implement the EHS program across field operations
  • Conduct field inspections, audits, and observations, and document findings using company systems
  • Coach and mentor employees and crews on safe work practices, behaviors, and skill development
  • Investigate incidents and assist with reporting, documentation, and root cause analysis
  • Communicate audit, inspection, and observation findings to operations leadership and recommend corrective or preventive actions
  • Identify trends, support mitigating actions, and help improve overall EHS performance and culture
  • Provide hands-on guidance and training as an EHS subject matter expert, including annual refresher and additional training as needed
  • Maintain accurate EHS documentation and support continuous workforce safety development
  • Foster a strong safety culture through engagement, accountability, collaboration, and demonstration of company Core Values
