The Electronic Health Records Specialist is responsible for supporting staff at the Oklahoma State Department of Health in their effective and efficient use of the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. This role involves maintaining training materials, assisting with training, documenting workflows, and managing changes to the EHR system. The specialist will coordinate testing and implementation of EHR changes, work with the EHR vendor, and serve as a point of escalation for EHR-related questions. Additionally, the role includes responding to help desk tickets, troubleshooting issues, coordinating interface errors, and developing security profiles within the EHR system. Being present at the office is an essential function of the job.
