About The Position
This role is for an EH&S Sustainability Co-op position for Summer/Fall 2027. The co-op will provide an exceptional foundation to work on complex problems, advance skills, and create a safer, more connected world within the aerospace and defense industry. The co-op will assist the Central EH&S team with tracking implementation of EH&S initiatives and projects, data entry and validation in the EH&S reporting system, investigating the feasibility of renewable energy opportunities, and monitoring corrective actions related to EH&S compliance and audits.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience delivering presentations using data visualization tools to communicate production metrics or project updates to cross-functional teams or leadership.
- Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Central EH&S team with tracking implementation of EH&S initiatives and projects across the organization
- Data entry and validation in EH&S reporting system as required
- Assist in investigating the feasibility of renewable energy opportunities in Collins operations
- Assist the Central EH&S team in monitoring of corrective actions related to EH&S compliance and audits.
