About The Position

As an EHS Specialist, you will be under the leadership of EHS Manager giving support for daily job and specifically in one or more EHS specializations. Promote the EHS culture across the organization. Requirements

  • University degree in chemistry, Engineering, EHS or other related field
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the chemical/manufacturing industry
  • 5+ years of experience in the EHS specialization
  • Fluent English, local Language essential
  • Any 8-10 of the technical competencies according to EHS specialization domain

Responsibilities

  • Conducting EHS Orientation training for new employees and contractors
  • Facilitating toolbox meetings and delivering other EHS training
  • Helping with the development of EHS procedures and tracking their implementation
  • Organizing regular site safety inspections with department/area owners; reporting findings and following up on their correction&prevention
  • Following up all audits findings; and evaluate the efficiency of their corrective&preventive actions
  • Helping to organize site EHS committee meetings and following up on all actions agreed in the committee meeting
  • Keeping good/regular liaison with authorities related to Environment, Health and Safety; reporting to EHS Manager any clue of authority concerns
  • Carrying out incident investigations and proposing corrective actions to be implemented
  • Helping with risk assessment and providing solutions to minimize risks
