The EHS manager is accountable for the development and implementation of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHS&S) programs and best practices to ensure compliance with governmental agencies and alignment with Construction Products Group EHS&S standards. This role involves leading the development and implementation of comprehensive regulatory compliance programs in occupational health and safety, hazardous materials management, environmental management, transportation materials safety, security, and product compliance. The manager will interpret regulations, develop compliant standards, conduct audits, and represent the company with professional organizations and regulatory bodies. They will also research best practices, investigate program innovations, and prepare recommendations for legislative changes. Travel to various Tremco CPG locations is required to serve as a resource for EHS&S compliance and best practices. The role includes developing and implementing enterprise-wide programs, identifying and correcting non-compliant processes, and ensuring business units are aware of and trained on EHS&S standards. Additionally, the manager will assess EHS&S human resources needs, manage the annual program budget, and provide analysis on the financial implications of EHS&S related changes. They will establish regulatory guidelines, conduct audits, assist with accident investigations, and provide guidance to business unit leaders on EHS&S compliance. The role also involves developing standards for training, audit, and reporting, and providing feedback to senior management on business strategy from a regulatory compliance perspective.
