About The Position
The EEG Technologist performs diagnostic neurophysiology procedures to monitor and evaluate brain activity in an inpatient setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years EEG experience (inpatient) – Required
- REEGT Certification – Required
- BLS Certification – Required
- Active State License – Required (No pending)
- High School Diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- CLTM – Preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform EEG studies and ensure accurate electrode placement
- Monitor and record brain activity during procedures
- Identify abnormalities and escalate findings as needed
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Collaborate with neurology and healthcare teams
