Cortica is seeking a per-diem EEG Technologist with extensive pediatric EEG experience and familiarity with Cadwell equipment. Requirements

  • Graduate of Nationally Accredited Neurodiagnostic program
  • Associate degree
  • Experience working with pediatric patients with autism and other developmental disorders
  • BLS Certification
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Registered Electroencephalography Technologist Certification (REEGT) preferred
  • Familiarity with Cadwell equipment

Responsibilities

  • Setup, operate and maintain routine and ambulatory EEGs
  • Perform equipment diagnostics when needed
  • Keeping inventory of EEG supplies
  • Apply electrodes to a patient’s head without expectation that the patient will remain still or be able to follow directions
  • Serve as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team working with children with developmental disabilities and their families/caregivers
  • Teammates are frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Team members must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
  • Basic understanding of and ability to use basic software and systems including, but not limited to, electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products; daily use of laptop and/or tablet for email, note taking, and other tasks required
