EEG Technologist (Per Diem) - $48.50/hr - Tarzana, CA
About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a per diem EEG Technologist for an acute care hospital in Tarzana, California. The role involves performing portable, ambulatory, sleep, and long-term monitoring EEG work and operating and calibrating equipment in inpatient and/or outpatient settings. Evoked potentials experience is preferred. All shifts are on-call, with shift lengths varying between 8, 10, 12, and 24 hours and most starting between 6:00 and 9:00 AM. Shifts are picked up through a scheduling app, and per diem scheduling is flexible. One day of orientation will be scheduled around the employee’s availability. The listed day shift is 8 hours, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Historical demand has been highest on Saturdays, followed by Tuesday, Sunday, and Thursday.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent EEG technologist experience, including pediatric and neonatal EEG.
- On-call experience.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- References covering 1 year of employment in the specialty within the last 3 years, including 1 supervisor.
