About The Position

We are seeking a skilled EEG Technologist for a travel contract position in Anchorage, AK. This role involves performing a variety of EEG studies in an acute care facility. The contract is for 13 weeks, with a day shift schedule of 36 hours per week. First-time travelers are welcome.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as an EEG Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• REEGT certification.
• CA state license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, sleep-deprived, ambulatory, and long-term EEG studies.
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout testing.
• Apply electrodes using proper techniques while maintaining infection control standards.
• Monitor, document, and troubleshoot EEG recordings to ensure quality data collection.
• Recognize and document clinical events during testing.
• Collaborate with neurologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain EEG equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Complete accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow facility policies, HIPAA regulations, and safety guidelines.
