In this role as EEG/END Technician you will be responsible for standard electroencephalographic procedures, analyze and identifies and documents, and ensure accurate and readable recordings along with troubleshooting and making adjustments as needed for a clear reading. If you have a background in CNA work or experience and want to add a new skill to your list, this would be a great role for you! This is a PRN Weekend Day Shift position where you would be helping cover every other weekend, 2 12's 6:00am-6:30pm. Banner Wyoming Medical Center is located in the heart of Casper Wyoming. As the state's largest inpatient facility, Wyoming Medical Center is known and highly regarded for its cardiac and stroke services. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
  • Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, basic mathematical skills, analyze data and solve basic problems.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
  • CNA work or experience

Responsibilities

  • Performs prescribed standard electroencephalographic procedures in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Analyzes, identifies and documents procedures as outlined by departmental policies and procedures to maximize patient outcome.
  • Ensures an accurate and readable recording using deductive reasoning to trouble shoot minor problems and make adjustments as needed during the procedure.
  • Collects and/or reviews pertinent medical, historical, and medication information in order to perform the appropriate study prescribed by the physician as outlined by departmental policies and procedures.
  • Assists with activities to improve department processes, facilitate testing and maintain quality to achieve optimal patient results.
  • Assists in scheduling of patients, charge entry and maintains equipment as outlined by department policies and procedures.
  • Independently performs prescribed electroencephalographic procedures to patients.
