GENERAL DESCRIPTION Assists with various procedures, including EEGs, NCSs, EMGs, and brainstem evoked potentials to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of nerve and brain disorders. This position is primarily based out of the Neurology Clinic with the ability to perform studies on the inpatient side of the hospital.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited NOT program with certification (CAAHEP or Non-CAAHEP) or certification eligibility in electrodiagnostic testing.
  • Ability 10 proficiently write read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to interact with positively with individuals.
  • Ability to successfully pass Basic Life Support Certification-Health Care Provider.

  • Continually demonstrates courteous and professional relations with patients, staff and others and responds to all inquiries and requests in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains appropriate continuing education to remain proficient in characteristic duties as new equipment and standards arc introduced.
